Looking at this scene, are you exhilarated by the challenge of the climb and the fresh air in your lungs, or are you plunged into the depths of the valley and the rocky path that constantly trips you up? Are you waiting for courage to step outside and face this new experience?
We are exited to meet the challenges ahead, to provide poems that reach to the top, and others that also console and comfort those whose spirits are downcast.
Watch this space!
Holy Ground
Open-toed –
Or better still, barefoot;
Through the soft young meadows in May.
Feel the bounce of Spring
Bubbling beneath the ground below,
And the damp dew lingering
on the soles of my feet.
Room
This room was his world, everything he needed was here.
He had his favourite place to sit,
A space to run, one wall to another,
He stood in the room, his room,
With four walls of comfort around him-
Four walls that were his boundary and his blanket.
With things to look at, like patterns on the wall,
Things to study and to understand.
